Rodrigo Troitiño (Troito) is a visual artist, illustrator, and storyteller based in Barcelona. His work blends painting, illustration, and narrative, exploring themes of memory, human connection, absurdity, and the invisible forces that shape everyday life.
Having lived in Athens, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Barcelona, and Brazil, while maintaining strong roots in the landscapes and folklore of La Mancha, his visual language draws from both urban cultures and deeply personal mythologies. His illustrations often inhabit the space between reality and imagination, combining poetic symbolism with a playful sense of wonder.
His work has been exhibited in Brazil and across Europe. Among his notable projects is Portraits of Good Feelings, an ongoing participatory art series in which he meets strangers, shares conversations, and creates original paintings inspired by the encounter. The project has travelled through locations including Alassio, Moscow, Åland, and the Camino de Santiago.
Alongside his personal artistic practice, Rodrigo has spent more than two decades working as a creative and art director for international brands, bringing a strong sense of storytelling, concept development, and visual world-building to his illustration work.
