OVERVIEW
Art directed and supported photography for Sanyako’s Summer ’24 campaign shoot, shaping a raw visual tone centered on movement, instinct and energy for social and brand content.

MY ROLE

• Art directed the visual tone of the shoot alongside the lead photographer.

• Directed models on set to capture dynamic poses and transitional moments.

• Shaped lighting, framing and composition to maintain a raw, kinetic aesthetic.

• Oversaw visual consistency with Sanyako’s brand language during production.

• Coordinated closely with stylist, hair and makeup teams to align movement, styling and atmosphere.

CHALLENGE
Translate Sanyako’s energetic brand identity into still photography without freezing the feeling of movement. The imagery needed to communicate spontaneity, rhythm and attitude within single frames.

CREATIVE APPROACH
Built images through motion rather than static poses. Focused on transitional moments —just before or after the expected shot— using light, framing and proximity to capture tension, authenticity and momentum.

OUTCOME
Delivered a series of high-energy campaign images used primarily across social channels. The visuals reinforced Sanyako’s expressive brand identity and established a dynamic photographic language for the Summer ’24 season.
