OVERVIEW

Art directed the Summer ’24 campaign for Sanyako, developing a visual language built around energy, instinct and physical expression.

The work focused on translating motion into still imagery, creating a raw and dynamic tone across campaign and social content.

MY ROLE

Co-led the visual direction of the shoot, shaping how movement and energy translated into image.

Directed models and collaborated closely with the photographer to capture transitional, unscripted moments.

Defined the visual language across lighting, framing and composition, ensuring consistency with the brand’s identity.

CHALLENGE

Express movement and spontaneity within still photography without losing intensity or authenticity.

CREATIVE APPROACH

Shifted focus from static poses to in-between moments—capturing tension just before or after the expected shot.

Used proximity, light and framing to create a sense of immediacy and physical presence.

Built a photographic language where imperfection and instinct carried the energy of the brand.

OUTCOME

Delivered a series of campaign and social assets that reinforced Sanyako’s expressive identity through a more dynamic visual approach.

Established a photographic direction centered on movement and rawness for the Summer ’24 season.
